KINANE EVENTS is a full service agency which currently manages many of Southern California's largest running/walking events. Kinane Events produces three of the top 100 largest road races in the U.S. The company is recognized nationally for their attention to detail as well as their passion for listenting to the needs of participants and sponsors.

Kinane Events has consulted for the Orange County RACE FOR THE CUREŽ since it's inception in 1992. This race currently ranks as one of the top 20 in the country.

Kathy Kinane
Possessing over 20 years of experience producing running, walking, cycling, volleyball and soccer events, Kathy is strongly committed to raise the standards of the event industry by delivering outstanding service to her clients. Described as a "Firecracker" by those she meets, Kathy has an abundance of energy and passion for her work. As a former qualifier in the 1984 Women's Olympic Trials for the Marathon and NCAA Division 1 Track and Field Coach, Kathy has extensive experience in the running industry. Her professional experiences also include working as a Physical Director for the YMCA, a television producer for That's Incredible, Salimini Films and Getting In The Game (a children's cable sports show). With a Master's degree in Exercise Physiology, Kathy's contagious attitude for keeping fit might just start you running!

Lisa Scolman
Lisa, General Manger of Kinane Events, has been with the company for nine years. Her background and expertise are in sales management and marketing. Lisa is the co-founder and manager of the Saddleback Memorial Half Marathon, a highly popular participant event in Orange County. Lisa's responsibility and strength is sponsor recruitment and servicing, event expo coordination and management, and volunteer committee development. She brings her lifelong love of running and events to the business. She is an avid "middle of the pack" runner, competing in numerous events of all distances, including the New York City Marathon in 2004.

Samantha Delagardelle
Samantha joined Kinane Events as the Volunteer Coordinator while attending Cal State University, San Marcos. A recent graduate with a degree in Business Management, and emphasis in Sports Administration, Samantha's experience includes team and participant service. As a former Cross Country runner at Cal State San Marcos, she also brings a passion for running to the Kinane team.

Jerrie Beard
Jerrie, Graphic Designer for Kinane Events, has been working with Kathy Kinane for 15 years. Jerrie works with the Kinane Team and their clients and sponsors to create eye catching event artwork and promotional materials such as entry forms, posters and advertisements. Jerrie is an avid cyclist and recreational runner.
